New CEO and Group Manager at PROACT IT GROUP AB (publ)


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Olof Sand, Divisional Manager of Business Consulting at AcandoFrontec has today been appointed CEO and Group Manager of Proact IT Group AB. He will take up his post by 1 February 2005 at the latest. Olof Sand is one of the founders of Acando, which merged with Frontec to form AcandoFrontec. His previous career has included management and change assignments at companies such as ABB and Tele2.

Simultaneously with Olof Sand's appointment, Omar Lien was appointed acting CEO of Proact IT Group AB. Omar Lien will be made vice CEO of the group when Olof Sand takes up his post. He will remain CEO of Proact's subsidiary in Norway.

Proact's founder, current CEO and Group Manager Henrik Holm gives up his post in the company but remains a member of the board. Since Proact was founded 10 years ago, Henrik Holm has lead the work during the company's considerable expansion, which has also encompassed internationalisation and listing on the stock exchange in 1999.
