eLocity Inc.: Pre-Open Tuesday's Stocks to Watch; CNOC, ORCL, ZTLDC, PRTL


SARASOTA, Fla., Dec. 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- eLocity's velocity stocks to watch for today are Chimera Technology Corp. (Pink Sheets:CNOC), Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq:ORCL), Z-Tel Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZTLDC) and PRIMUS Telecommunications Group Inc. (Nasdaq:PRTL).

Online gaming enthusiast and investors alike may want to watch Chimera Technology Corp. ("Chimera") (Pink Sheets:CNOC). Chimera announced that the new web site for the new licensee, Pegasus Gaming Corp. (www.pegasusgaming.com) is completed, and system integration is in progress, which will enable the site to be beta tested before year-end.

In a prior press release, Chimera announced that they have come to terms with Grade Point Average Inc. (Pink Sheets:GPTV) for the "sale of a Master license agreement, for the continents of Europe and Africa, to be operated by Pegasus Gaming Corp., and have now been agreed on as a total price of US $2,000,000. The transaction calls for US $1,000,000 to be paid by quarterly payments of US $250,000, and the issuance of US $1,000,000 in common stock of Pegasus Gaming Corp."

CNOC currently trades at around .10 a share.

Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq:ORCL)

Oracle Corp. announced Monday the signing of a definitive merger agreement to acquire PeopleSoft, Inc., for $26.50 per share, or around $10.3 billion. Oracle said the deal has met with the approval from the boards of directors of both companies and is expected to close in early January, Oracle noted.

Shares of ORCL closed Monday's regular trading session at $14.63 on volume of over 181 million shares.

Z-Tel Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZTLDC)

Enhanced wire line and broadband telecommunications service provider, Z-Tel Technologies, Inc., announced Monday that it will exceed its earlier guidance of retail line for the year, and also affirmed its EBITDA for the fourth quarter ending December 31. Z-Tel also said that it would reach 225,000 bundled service lines, but now easily expects to exceed 230,000 active retail lines by year-end. Z-Tel added that fourth quarter net loss is expected to be $3.92 million and loss in interest income will be another $0.70 million.

Shares of ZTLDC closed Monday's regular trading session at $2.01 on volume of 2.57 million shares.

PRIMUS Telecommunications Group Inc. (Nasdaq:PRTL)

Integrated communications service provider, PRIMUS Telecommunications Group Inc., announced Monday that it has appointed Thomas Kloster as its Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2005. PRIMUS said that Neil Hazard, who currently holds the combined roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, would continue as the Chief Operating Officer.

Shares of PRTL closed Monday's regular trading session at $3.44 on volume of 2.27 million shares.
