eGames General Counsel to Run Disney Half Marathon to Benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

LANGHORNE, Pa., Dec. 15, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of Family Friendly(TM) consumer entertainment PC software games, today announced that Ellen Pulver Flatt, the company's Vice President and General Counsel, will run in the Walt Disney World(R) Half Marathon on Sunday, January 9, 2005 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

eGames, Inc. made a $1,000 contribution from its "Pennies Count Too!" fund to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of Ms. Pulver Flatt's efforts. eGames is contributing a penny for every eGames software title sold at North American retail locations and on the Internet to the Pennies Count Too! Fund, which is earmarked for contributions that benefit charitable organizations. The Pennies Count Too! fund contributes to charities benefited by the athletic events in which eGames employees participate, with the overall goal of aiding charities that help children and families.

Ms. Pulver Flatt is running the race in honor of several people, including her late father-in-law, James H. Flatt, who lived through a tough battle with lymphoma cancer, and two young "team heroes" of Team in Training's Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter. One is Jacquelyn, a six-year old first grader who is currently being treated for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and the other is Ben, a nine-year-old third grader who has also fought this disease, and has now completed his fifth year in remission.

"This is my first endurance sporting event and I am proud to be part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training," Pulver Flatt commented. "I have raised more than $4,000 so far for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and I'm looking to reach my goal of $5,000 by the end of this year. My company's generous $1,000 contribution to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society went a long way towards reaching that goal."

For more than ten years, the Walt Disney World(R) Marathon Weekend and Team In Training(R)(TNT) have been raising money together. TNT, the world's largest endurance sports training program, supports The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by raising funds to support the organization's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The Walt Disney World(R) Marathon Weekend is its largest fund-raising event. Over $6 million was raised during the 2004 race alone. The Disney race starts at 6 a.m. and the full marathon course takes runners through Epcot(R), Magic Kingdom(R) Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom(R) Theme Park, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort, and back through Epcot(R) for the finish. More than 10,000 people are expected to participate in the 2005 Marathon and Half Marathon events at Walt Disney World(R).
