Immediatek's DiscLive Set to Record Legendary Doors of the 21st Century

New Year's Eve Performance at House of Blues in Anaheim

DALLAS, Dec. 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Immediatek's (OTCBB:ITEK) wholly owned subsidiary DiscLive, Inc., announced today it will be recording the Doors of the 21st Century for a very special New Year's Eve performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, and distributing live discs immediately after the show. This is a repeat performance for DiscLive, having previously recorded the legendary band last New Year's at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. The individually numbered, limited edition discs quickly sold out, and the company expects the same thing to happen this year.

Additionally, the company said it has partnered with the band and its management to offer the opportunity for a few fans to purchase a special promotional package which includes the 2CD set, meeting the band, and having a photograph taken of themselves with the performers. The clincher: the photos will be taken right after the concert, printed, and signed on the spot.

Zach Bair, CEO of Immediatek, says that special opportunities like the promotional photo package open up a closer dialog between artists and their fan base, and make the event much more personal.

"How many chances does one get to meet such legendary musicians?" says Bair. "Combined with taking home the DiscLive keepsake, they not only memorialize the event with the music and excitement they just experienced, but they get a visual keepsake -- and the memory and feeling of meeting these guys!"

Bair noted the photo packages went on sale on December 15th, and sold out within 12 hours.

Tom Vitorino, manager for the Doors of the 21st Century, said, "This is the ultimate souvenir. The packaging and production are first rate. It takes memorabilia to the next level and fans love it."

The Doors of the 21st Century features original Doors members Ray Manzarek on keyboards, Robby Krieger on guitar, and vocalist Ian Asbury, who is best known for fronting The Cult. The band previously made history with DiscLive by being the first artist to offer its concert online with Immediatek's NetBurn digital delivery solution within just a couple of hours after the last note.

Tickets for the New Year's Eve show are available at ticketmaster.com, and the DiscLive discs can be pre-purchased at disclive.com or at the performance.
