LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Adimos, a leading provider of semiconductors for wireless home networking, today announced new customers for its WVM1101 (Wireless Video Module) at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show. The Adimos TrueVideoQoS processor IC and software technology used in this module provide OEMs with a high quality, robust, production ready design for embedding wireless connectivity into consumer electronics.
The introduction comes via three new customers for Adimos, including Konka, one of China's leading TV manufacturers, Visart, a globally competitive LCD TV manufacturer, and GigaFast, who will first deploy the WVM1101 in an aftermarket add-on to incumbent CE products to enable wireless transmission. GigaFast then plans to integrate the WVM1101 into its networking products for the home and for both home and small office users.
As the home entertainment industry rushes to meet intense consumer demand for wireless multimedia solutions, Adimos has production-ready solutions to enable OEMs to introduce their next generation line of CE products.
