United States Military Places Wolf Pack Order for Overseas Deployment

BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, Jan. 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sciax Corp. (Pink Sheets:SCXC) announced today that it has received a GSA schedule qualified purchase order from the U.S. Military for its Wolf Pack System.

With several branches of the U.S. Military currently evaluating the Wolf Pack System, the U.S. Air Force has now issued a purchase order for multiple Wolf Packs including a number of additional accessories to be used with them. "One of the important aspects of this order is the inclusion of product from the company's partner Richard Wolf GmbH, which as previously disclosed can be fitted to the Wolf Pack using the company's Endoscope camera," stated Ralph Manore Vice President of Operations for Sciax. "This, in addition to the many Wolf Pack accessories included in the order, demonstrates the strategic importance of the connectivity between R. Wolf GmbH products and Wolf Pack as well as the modularity of the Wolf Pack design."

The Sciax Wolf Pack is a highly modularized opto-electronic remote viewing system used by law enforcement and military personnel. The reconfigurable, multi-operational design of Wolf Pack makes the system ideal for many applications in physical security, drug and contraband interdiction, tactical response and protective security. Wolf Pack electronics and optical components are built to high standards of durability, allowing successful deployment in harsh conditions that would prohibit the use of many conventional imaging systems.
