StockPickReport Commentary
Sentiment Change Part Three
We find that today (Wednesday night), there are 74 stocks on our "Strong Buy" list, but only 5 stocks on our "Strong Sell" list.
That means that we believe there is more pressure building for an upward push.
We said the same thing last night, and the night before. We also said we thought that before an upswing begins, more downside is possible.
Is that double speak?
No. Listen to what I'm saying: I believe that the market is nearer a bottom than top. I believe that it is impossible to call a "bottom," and therefore do not do so here.
Moving back in to stocks now makes more sense than it did in December, but, we would STILL be cautious now, and we would STILL use TIGHT stop/losses. The other day we said to look at 1180 on the S&P as a key number.
The S&P traded below 1180 today.
