SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Scholarship applications for college-bound students of Asian and Pacific Islander American descent are now available online at www.apiasf.org. Students who plan to enter into the freshman class of an accredited college, university or vocational institution in the fall are encouraged to apply. Eligibility requirements are available online.
APIASF plans to award more than 100 scholarships in May. Each scholarship will be $2,000.

APIASF is the only national organization devoted to providing scholarships to Asian and Pacific Islander American students and is currently based in San Francisco.
