New York Times Television Reporter Gives 'Gina D's Kids Club' a Positive Review

'Gina D Who Looks and Sings A Little Like Marie Osmond Serves Up A Spoonful of Sugar Saturday Mornings on New York's WNYE Public Television'

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:RVNM) is pleased to announce that Gina D's Kids Club was featured in the Television section of The New York Times this past Sunday.

In her review, Hilary Howard wrote, "In the harmonious alternate universe of 'Gina D's Kids Club,' negativity, selfishness and sarcasm don't exist. Each episode, served up like a spoonful of sugar on Saturday mornings at 6 on WNYE (NY Public Television Channel 25) features a chorus of cuddly animal puppets; a gaggle of unthreatening human characters; and the show's constantly smiling host Gina D, who is as gentle and nurturing as Bambi's mother."

Ms. Howard writes: ("Gina D's Kids Club" contains an) "old fashioned emphasis on soft boiled life lessons."

"The show harks back to the days before the Ninja Turtle generation which is when everything changed," stated Gina "D" in her NY Times interview.

Gina continued, "Children's programming took a turn toward violence and cynicism during the 1980's and has never looked back. The thing I loved about Captain Kangaroo, Mr. Rogers, and Shari Lewis was that they were real people and they made me feel good about myself....I really think we're filling that void."

NY Times writer Hilary Howard reviewed "Gina D's Kids Club -- Visit to the Doctor". Ms. Howard wrote: "At least seven short musical numbers embellish each half hour episode. Gina D, who looks and sounds a little like the 1970's entertainer Marie Osmond, performs most of the songs. In the Doctor episode, she sang softly and reassuringly, 'Hold your Head up/ and keep your chin up/ you've just got to be brave.'"

In regard to the program being featured in The New York Times Television section, Gina D's Kids Club creators and executive producers Joey and Bernadette DiFrancesco stated, "We are so proud that the New York Times reporter thinks Gina D is in the same neighborhood as Mr. Rogers. Our company has been waiting for an endorsement like this since we began the project three years ago. There are so many creative people that we have put together that are working everyday to make Gina D's Kids Club a success."

Ms. Howard concluded her article: "The Grand Parents are definitely a focal point for the show.....Gina D writes a letter to her grandmother, sharing what she and her pals learned that day. And just in case that's not tender enough, her closing salutation seals the deal: 'Always remember, you are a special person, and we love you.'"
