LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has announced it plans to provide up to $1 million to aid tsunami relief efforts in Southeast Asia.
The company will contribute $500,000 through three agencies supporting specific aspects of the recovery: the American Red Cross, providing water, ground logistics and family reunification; Habitat for Humanity International, for construction of shelter and repair to existing housing; and AmeriCares(TM), delivering medicine, relief supplies and healthcare to those in need.
The company has committed another $500,000 to an employee matching gift program for tsunami relief.
