FaceKey Corporation to Provide Biometric Access Control System to Malaysian Government Agency

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 24, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- FaceKey Corp. (Pink Sheets:FEKY) announced that it has shipped several 'Executive Suite' Access Control Systems to Secured Digital Applications, Inc., for use by a Malaysian government agency.

The Executive Suite is designed for corporate offices and other areas requiring the highest level of security for access control. Both fingerprint recognition and face recognition are required before authorized users are granted access. The system works by converting information about an individual's face and fingerprints into unique templates. Authorized users are enrolled into the system by recording their facial and fingerprint patterns, which are encrypted and serve as the user's template.

FaceKey's President, Yevgeny B. Levitov Ph.D, comments, "The implementation of biometric technology is the next logical step in the evolution of access control and we feel that there exists a largely underdeveloped marketplace for biometric access security systems in corporations and government agencies both in the US and internationally. The sale of our Executive Suite Access Control System to a Government Agency demonstrates the quality of FaceKey's biometric products."

Secured Digital Applications, Inc. and its subsidiaries are involved in the development, integration, and provision of secured shipping and supply chain management service, development of Web based interactive multimedia content and the sale of biometrics security systems. The company will focus its expansion efforts in the upcoming year on biometrics and secured shipping and sees promise in its role as niche provider focusing on the Southeast Asian market for these products and applications.
