PrimeZone to Offer Live RSS Newsfeeds

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PrimeZone Media Network today announced that it will now offer its full-text press release newsfeed via RSS (Real Simple Syndication) channels. RSS channels allow journalists, consumers and other individuals to receive and aggregate content from various news sources using a desktop application commonly referred to as an RSS Reader.

Effective immediately, PrimeZone offers RSS channels in 11 different industry categories, including Business/Finance, Biotech, Technology and Travel. In addition, PrimeZone is the only major press release distribution service offering company-specific newsfeeds via RSS. All RSS channels produced by PrimeZone are updated in real-time as news releases are distributed on its wire service.

Access to PrimeZone's RSS channels is provided via the News Room located at http://www.primezone.com/newsroom/. Although registration is required to access the service, PrimeZone provides it free-of-charge.

"PrimeZone's global news release distribution network is further enhanced by this emerging XML technology. RSS channels offer direct-to-consumer distribution for our clients' news releases," said Tom Madden, CEO of PrimeZone. "We believe it is important to offer all possible means of distribution as part of our service, to the benefit of our clients and those receiving our content."
