RACINE, Wis., Jan. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Pacific Sands, Inc (OTCBB:PFSD) announced today that the company has penned a deal with Environ Intercontinental, LTD making Pacific Sands the master distributor for Rainforest Blue(tm) Bactericide/Algaecide for use in pools and spas.
Rainforest Blue is an EPA Registered product (EPA REG. No. 70845-1) that helps keep pools and hot tubs free of algae without using harsh chemicals. One gallon treats an average pool up to 2-3 months by adding just a few ounces per week.
Rainforest Blue kills algae and bacteria such as pseudomonas, e-coli, salmonella, cholera, and other forms of coliform bacteria as well as yellow, green, brown, and black algae. While Rainforest Blue is eliminating bacteria and algae in a pool or spa, it is harmless to people and pets.
Pacific Sands VP of Sales and Marketing, Michael Michie stressed that Rainforest Blue is a perfect companion product to the EcoOne line of pool and spa products. Rainforest Blue is currently being featured along with Pacific Sands EcoOne product line at the Atlantic City Pool and Spa in booth 2924.
