Torbay Holdings Inc: AirObic Mouse Will Exhibit at The S.W. Government Technology Conference In Austin Texas

MINEOLA, N.Y., Jan. 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Torbay Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:TRBY) today announced that Designer Appliances Inc (DAI), TRBY's wholly owned sales subsidiary, will be exhibiting its products at the Government Technology Conference in Austin, Texas on February 2-3, 2005.

The Austin conference is one of four regional conferences across the US that claim to be the "largest and most respected technology conferences for state and local government" by the organizers. In their prospectus http://media.govtech.net/GTC05_Prospectus.pdf they estimate the total State and Government IT market at $83 billion . DAI has taken a booth (#927) at the exhibition being held in the Austin Convention Center. DAI was advised last evening that the delegates list numbered some 5,000. Other Exhibitors include Hewlett Packard, Dell, Gateway and the many of the leading distributors who sell to the Government on a nationwide basis.

Following recent clarification of the status of computer mouse purchases requiring Section 508 compliance, this is the first opportunity to present specifically to the Government and State purchasing officers and procurement executives. Under the theme of "Meet Section 508 Standards" it is an invitation to both see products that we assert fulfill the standards and to raise awareness of the requirement for computer mice purchases to be Section 508 compliant.

On April 1, 2005, all Government IT purchases require compliance with Section 508 Law and IT products meet the specific standards. Attendance at this exhibition is the start of a marketing campaign, targeted directly a government purchasers, to raise their awareness of DAI's assertions that its computer mouse products meet the standards and that government officers that purchase them will fulfill their obligations to procure Section 508 compliant technology thereby.
