KUNGSBACKA, Sweden, Jan. 31, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Elanders:
- Turnover increased by 3.8% and amounted to MSEK 1,780.4 (MSEK 1,714.4).
- Pre-tax profits rose by 58% and amounted to MSEK 83.9 (MSEK 53.1).
- Net profit totalled MSEK 65.6 (MSEK 45.9) or SEK 7.84 per share (SEK 5.48 per share).
- Cash flow amounted to MSEK 68 (MSEK 130).
- The tax expense for the year was reduced in part by MSEK 12 (equivalent to SEK 1.44 per share) which is primarily due to capital losses from divestitures of operations in 2002.
- New unit in France for the delivery of digital print and logistics to customers in the segments Automotive and Industry & Trade will be established during the first half of 2005.
- The board of directors proposes a dividend of SEK 2 (SEK 1).
- Continued positive development is anticipated for 2005.
