The Doctrine of Investing
Right now I am not going to point your attention to any charts. I will not talk about selling calls, options trading, or stocks. I want to focus on the entire doctrine of the idea of investing.
Let me begin with a couple arguments of truth:
People earn a living to spend money.
People spend money to profit from the exchange of cash into goods and services. The exchange is called, "investing". The finite amount of net income earned assures a finite amount of goods and services secured through the processes identified in points number 1 and number 2.
There is not another cause to bring in cash except to spend cash. The cash will be spent, one of these days, by the government through taxes, you, your heirs, or, whosoever places their paws on it. Sooner or later, someday your cash is going to be spent.
People don't have "money" problems, they have "outflow" difficulties. Use too much and you'll use too much time having to earn it in the beginning. Yet, trim down in merely a couple Modest ways, and breathe easier while your bills drop-off and your available time grows.
