The Doctrine of Investing
Today I will not look at any charts. There will be no discussion of mutual funds, the market, or fibonacci trading. I have chosen to center on the entire doctrine of the concept of investing.
Let me begin with a few assertions of fact:
Folks make money to acquire things.
Folks acquire things to benefit from the exchange of capital into tangible and intangible goods and services. That exchange is referred to as, "investing". The finite amount of cash realized ensures a limited quantity of goods and services secured with the procedures described in points number 1 and number 2.
There can be no other rationale to make money than to use money. The money will be expended, in time, by your heirs, your family, your employees, or, whoever gets their mitts on it. One of these days, somewhere down the line your money will be expended.
Folks don't have "cash" troubles, they have "outflow" difficulties. Spend too much and you'll spend too much time having to make it in the first place. Even so, cut back in only a few Modest ways, and you can breathe easy as your monthly bills drop-off and your useable time increases.
