The Philosophy of Investing
This evening I won't draw up any stock and index charts. We will not discuss stocks, individual stock research, or buying puts. We decided to revolve around the whole philosophy of the concept of investing.
Let me start by making a few assertions of fact:
You invest to buy things.
You buy things to gain something from the transition of money into tangible and intangible goods and services. This transition is known as, "investing". The limited sum of money brought in guarantees a limited quantity of tangible and intangible goods and services procured by the procedures indicated in points number 1 and number 2.
There can be no other reason to earn money than to use money. That money is going to be exhausted, eventually, by your employees, your family, the government through taxes, or whomever lays their hands on it. But, at some point your money will be exhausted.
You in no way have "money" difficulties, they have "spending" troubles. Use more than you make and you'll use too much of your time needing to make it in the first place. Yet, trim back in simply a couple minor ways, and you can relax a little while your monthly bills lessen and your available time increases.
