JENA, Germany, Feb. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- At the beginning of this year CyBio and CLONDIAG chip technologies GmbH signed a long term contract for the production and marketing of automatic pipetting and analyzing instruments (CLONDIAG ArrayStripProcessor -- ASP) for routine diagnostics.
With this efficient platform, CLONDIAG ArrayStrips with integrated biochips can be processed in a 96 well microplate format without user intervention. Process steps for pipetting, incubation, washing, selection, visualization and data-management will be available. Application areas are molecular and immunological diagnostics as well as genomic and serologic analytics.
With the signing of this long term outline agreement CyBio takes a step forward into laboratory diagnostics and CLONDIAG gets an instrument which allows the fully automated processing of ArrayStrips with integrated biochips for a broad range of users.
