CORRECTING and REPLACING -- Soleil Film Appoints Director Jeff Celentano to Direct Feature Film, 'Say it in Russian'

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Feb. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In a release sent earlier under the same headline, please note the change from "Academy Award winning actress" to "Academy Award-nominated actress". The full corrected release follows:

Soleil Film, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFLM) announced today that it has hired award-winning Director Jeff Celentano to direct the company's feature film, "Say it in Russian."

"This marks the beginning of production of the film and we anticipate that we will complete casting by mid-March, and be filming in May," according to Producer and Company President Kenneth Eade, "and we feel that Jeff Celentano will increase our chances of having a commercially successful film."

Former actor Jeff Celentano met with immediate success when he turned to directing in 1992. He staged South Africa's award-winning play "Soweto's Burning" in Los Angeles where his production attracted awards as well as was named the Los Angeles Times' "Pick of the Week" for three weeks running. Celentano's first film, the short "Dickwad," won both the "Best Original Comedy" award at the Houston International Film Festival and the Silver Award at the Philadelphia International Film Festival in 1994.

With numerous additional invitations, Jeff Celentano gained acceptance on the "festival circuit," winning a total of five awards, including Best Director. Jeff went on to direct Academy Award-nominated actress, Diane Lane, in the critically acclaimed "Gunshy," (1998), featuring William Peterson (CSI); and "Primary Suspect" (2000), starring William Baldwin. His most recent project was "Moscow Heat," (2004) starring Michael York and Adrian Paul (Highlander).

Soleil's unique business model for financing films is the only successful one presently in existence. The company's plan involves the issuance of company securities to finance its film projects. This gives investors a built-in exit strategy at the moment of their investment, and their investment risk is spread out over the company's entire library.
