TORONTO, Feb. 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Diamant Art Corporation (OTCBB:DIAAF) is pleased to provide a progress report on its wholly owned subsidiary, Diamant Film Inc., to existing shareholders and the general public this morning, amidst a flurry of recent events.

Diamant Art reported that, through its wholly owned subsidiary Diamant Film Inc., has extended the Letter of Intent with Victory Packaging until February 28, 2005, in order to complete very positive testing of Diamant(tm) film with clients of Victory Packaging for meat, poultry and cheese in the United States.

Diamant Film Inc. has also been extensively testing its Diamant(tm) stretch wrap film with respect to the cheese industry in Canada.

Diamant Film Inc. has also been working extensively with Zing Bias Inc. (www.zingbias.com) of Toronto, Canada, with respect to its cutter box design, corporate logo and updated website which is anticipated to be available before the end of February, 2005.
