BNP Paribas Appoints Ken Campbell to Its U.S. Mortgage Backed Securities Business


NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Campbell to its U.S. Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) business. He joins the Tysons Corner, Virginia office as a Director and an MBS originator, reporting locally to Kevin Heal, Head of U.S. MBS Sales and functionally to Avi Pemper, Head of Financial Institution Coverage within Fixed Income.

Ken joins the firm from Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation where he was a senior mortgage originator since 2003. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer and Director of E*Trade Global Asset Management.

Commenting on the appointment, Kip Testwuide, Head of Sales and Origination for the Americas said, "Ken's appointment builds upon the establishment of a customer facing mortgage business.
