Stafford Energy, Inc. Subsidiary Abucco Receives Expanded Order for Guard Series, Parks Management Systems

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stafford Energy, Inc. ("Stafford") (OTC:SFDE) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Abucco Technologies Inc. ("Abucco"), has received an expanded order for its Parks Management Systems ("Systems") from the Corporation of Delta ("Delta"), a city in British Columbia, Canada with a population of approximately 100,000.

Having successfully completed the testing phase of an initial pilot site installation of a Parks Management System for Delta, Abucco has received an expanded order for additional Systems. These Systems will be installed to provide both local and remote control of the park facilities. Applications include the automatic locking and unlocking of high-traffic outbuildings, in addition to controlling the lighting on various sports fields. Both feature Abucco's advanced wireless scheduler which facilitates the remote control of individual schedules and timers for the various park applications. Benefits of the System will include reduced costs of field lighting and a targeted reduction in costs associated with reduced vandalism due to improved access control of the outbuildings.

Richard Connors, President of Stafford stated, "The Delta decision to convert all of its parks to a centralized control strategy with remote capabilities is very important. There are over 100,000 parks in North America alone and Abucco has a low-cost solution to address some significant management issues in this market. With the proof of technology and testing phase now successfully completed, we have begun to roll out our marketing plan for North America. The plan includes numerous applications within the parks management area. The market size for this and related applications is approximately US$600 million.

"We now have inquiries and pilot site orders for several other cities. There are significant benefits of the system that include reduced administrative and maintenance costs associated with manual access control ("locks"), reduced operating costs for field lighting as the lights are only on when permitted and requested along with the real-time alarming of potential vandalism. We are extremely excited about where this product is headed."

Abucco, a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Stafford, is in the business of high-technology security, access, and telemetry monitoring and control over the Internet and wireless networks. For more information about Abucco, please see Abucco's website at http://www.abucco.com.
