Games, Inc. Expands its Lottery Online Alert Services

CINCINNATI, Feb. 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Games, Inc. (OTCBB:GMSI) expands its Lottery Online(sm) services with the addition of "winner notification" alerts to its current text alert services for lottery players. Players who visit Lottery.com can currently sign up to have lottery results sent to their cell phones or PDAs. This newest winner notification offering allows lottery players to come to the www.Lottery.com website and register their lottery ticket numbers. When the drawing is held, www.Lottery.com will send the registrant a text alert telling them whether or not they have a winning ticket and which numbers they have matched.

A large percentage of lottery players use the Internet to check their lottery tickets as well as to find information about their state lotteries. Currently, Lottery Online (sm) access is provided by government-sponsored Lotteries in the U.K. and in Canada; while no U.S. Lottery currently allows the sale of Lottery Online(sm) with tickets over the Internet, there has been a strong indication that the widespread public usage of the Internet combined with improved security features will make this sales option attractive to government sponsored lotteries in the near term.

"Games, Inc. has developed a platform for the sale of lottery tickets via the Internet and wireless devices; and the delivery of these text alerts is another step in developing a public level of comfort for lottery players via use of wireless devices," said Myles Cairns, Games, Inc. CFO. "Notifying lottery players by e-mail or text alerts of winning results, provides an excellent opportunity to alert lottery customers to the current jackpot and remind them to "play again."
