Awe Engineering, Inc. and Pure & Secure LLC Sign Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Outsourcing Agreement

TUCSON, Ariz., Feb. 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The management of Environmental Technologies International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Awe Engineering, Inc., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pure & Secure LLC, whereby Pure & Secure ("P&S") will be the Manufacture, Assembler, and Wholesaler of Awe's revolutionary HVAC units, the first model of which will be a retrofit unit applicable to commercial-building mass markets. As Awe's exclusive supplier, P&S will procure all materials and parts, as necessary, from other suppliers, in addition to the key components that it will manufacture.

First Prototype Nearing Completion

The initial AWE retrofit prototype unit is being built at the manufacturing facilities of P&S, located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Awe Engineering and P & S engineers and consultants have collaborated closely during the design of the prototype, and both companies' engineering staff are enthusiastic that the subsequent testing of the prototype will be a major step toward realizing commercialization of the AWE Technology on a mass scale.

The Awe Technology

The technology represents a quantum leap over conventional building energy-management systems, offering the potential to dramatically improve the workplace/living environment while capturing significant savings for commercial building owners/operators. Through a retrofit on existing commercial buildings, the system is capable of significantly reducing electrical costs, while also improving air quality and humidity control, and achieving the virtual elimination of mold and mildew in the building. In addition, the system also produces pure water for use by building tenants.

A Potential Multibillion-Dollar Market

The intended use of AWE's proprietary technology in building heating/cooling, energy, and water systems is global in scope, and is estimated to exceed many billions of dollars. In addition, the system also produces pure water for use by building tenants. It is a leading-edge technological advance which, when developed for building-environment control systems, is expected to find broad acceptance owing to the fact that the savings in building maintenance/operations garnered by the system will in fact pay for itself many times over.
