Outside Directors Resign from Platforms Wireless

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mr. Alvin Bojar and Dr. Timothy Kennedy today announced that they had resigned as outside Directors of Platforms Wireless International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLFM).

According to Mr. Bojar, their decision was based on a number of factors: the SEC legal action alleging repeated fraudulent stock market behavior on the part of William Martin, Chairman and CEO; lack of annual stockholder meetings for the past three years; the unauthorized issuance of millions of shares of stock without Board approval; the failure to hold regular Board meetings; the refusal to allow Mr. Bojar, the Company's Lead Director, and Professor Kennedy to attend the recent meeting of the Board -- only the second called since June 2002 -- via telephonic connection as provided for in the Company's by-laws; and the refusal to submit to them the minutes of this meeting of the Board, which was held on December 1, 2004.

Mr. Robert Harris, former Vice-President and Chief Technical Officer, indicated that he had resigned, on November 4, 2004, for substantially the same reasons.

Mr. Bojar commented, "While we believe in the company's technology, we have no confidence in the present management."
