Cupid discovers A.G. Media's GospelCity.com

A.G. Media and RealCafes.com Sign Strategic Agreement


MONTREAL, Feb. 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- A.G. Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMGJ) announced today that it has signed a strategic affiliate agreement with RealCafes.com, the providers of the ChristianCafe.com online dating service, to offer the service to A.G. Media's GospelCity.com community.

"We are very excited about the great potential of A.G. Media's GospelCity.com web property to drive a large volume of African-American Christians to the ChristianCafe service," stated Sam Moorcroft, RealCafes.com CEO. "We are looking to A.G. Media as a major partner in driving new traffic," he added.

"ChristianCafe offers a safe and pleasant environment for Christian singles to meet; we have had several inquiries from the GospelCity.com community to offer such a service," said Pierre Redding, A.G. Media Group President. "This service will also provide a new revenue stream for the web property. Our goal for 2005 is to refer a minimum of 3000 registrants to the ChristianCafe service. The initial reaction has been very positive; the promotional links have been receiving higher than average click-through rates demonstrating that the GospelCity.com audience is responsive to this service," added Redding.

Under terms of the agreement, A.G. Media will be compensated for a percentage of all paid service subscriptions and any upsell purchases for the lifetime of all customers it refers to ChristianCafe. ChristianCafe.com currently has one of the highest conversion rates of profiles to paid subscriptions in comparison to other online dating services.

In 2003, consumers spent $313 million on U.S.-based dating Web sites alone, according to Jupiter Communications Inc., an Internet market research firm. Jupiter forecasts that figure will double to $642 million by 2008.
