Travel Show Radio Expert & Host of 'Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!' Continues Philanthropic Work for Needy Children with Holland America and Maine Teen Camp

BOSTON, Feb. 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Travel Expert host of "Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!", heard coast-to-coast on the Business TalkRadio(tm) Network WBIX in Boston, and the only nationally syndicated radio show originating in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, announced today two programs for 2005 to aid needy and homeless children rescued from the streets of Tucson by the Giving Tree Outreach Program. "When you reach the intersection of travel and children," Abrams states, "you have my complete interest and support." These programs include a fund -raising cruise through Alaska on Holland America Line's Zaandam and the establishment of the Stephanie Abrams Scholarship Program at the Maine Teen Camp in Porter, Maine, for three teens to attend a tuition-free 4-week camp session this summer.

"I can't think of a better place for three teenagers from Tucson to spend their summer than at the Maine Teen Camp (www.teencamp.com). This is an ideal place for teens to experience music, art, sports, water sports and be in a safe and caring environment in the cool, beautiful state of Maine! They will benefit from learning wonderful skills while traveling from the hot streets of Tucson to the Maine Teen Camp," Abrams states. "My fervent hope is that they come away with dreams that become lifetime goals and that their experiences motivate them to pass on the positive lessons from their travels."

The Holland America Alaska Cruise on the Zaandam, scheduled for August 20, 2005 from Vancouver, whose lead price is $1,152 per person/double inclusive of taxes, includes a donation to the Giving Tree and can be booked through Holidays N Travel (www.hnttravel.com). This is the second fund-raising cruise Abrams has endorsed for the Giving Tree, following HAL's inaugural Caribbean cruise of the Westerdam in December, 2004, which Abrams notes, "was a great success!"

Abrams learned of the Giving Tree's mission when its Executive Director, Libby Wright, was "Lucky caller number 5" and won a vacation at San Francisco's Diva Hotel. "Libby said she needed a rest. When I learned what she does, I had to find ways to help," Abrams said.

Abrams provided 12 children and 4 chaperones from the Giving Tree with a 12- day trip to California in 2004 "and sent them on their first trip to the ocean!" Abrams notes. "Thrifty Car Rental, Woodfin Suites Hotels, Choice Hotels and San Diego's Hilton Del Mar helped me to make this dream happen!"

Abrams, a Travel Industry Partner in the New York Times Travel Show, March 4 -6, 2005 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, will be at booth #525, "Where I hope to meet many of my listeners who listen live on Sundays in the 7pm to 9pm EST timeslot on the Business TalkRadio Network's affiliated stations and globally at my award-winning website, www.sabrams.com." Abrams will also be interviewing exhibitors for future airings on her radio show.
