COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb. 17, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ACS Government Systems, a Lexington, Ky.-based division of Affiliated Computer Services (NYSE:ACS), has acquired privately held Visionary Systems Ltd. of Urbandale, Iowa. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
RSM McGladrey, a provider of business and tax consulting services and affiliate of RSM EquiCo, introduced Visionary Systems to RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC, the firm's broker-dealer subsidiary. Together the two firms initiated the transaction, led the negotiations and acted as financial advisors to the company.

"The acquisition will also enable ACS Government Systems to expand its offerings with additional products and services."
