LAWA and Westchester Streetscape Improvement Association Kick Off Tree-Planting

 WHAT:    In celebration of Arbor Day, Los Angeles World
          Airports (LAWA) and the Westchester Streetscape Association
          (WSIA) will launch the planting of 83 Purple Orchid trees
          along airport-owned property along Westchester Parkway.

 WHEN:    Thursday, March 3, 2005
          10 a.m.

 WHERE:   Northeast corner of Westchester Parkway and
          Will Rogers Street
          (just east of Sepulveda Boulevard).

 WHO:     David Voss, Board of Airport Commissioner
          Kim Day, LAWA Executive Director
          John Ruhlen, WSIA President
          Children from the Westchester Neighborhood School

 WHY:     LAWA is implementing the project in response to a request
          from WSIA as part of the association's overall streetscape
          improvement project in Westchester.

 PARKING: Street parking will be available along Will Rogers
          Street.
