PointRoll Introduces New Page-Turning FoldOver Ad Unit

Creating More Inventory for Publishers and Branding Opportunities for Advertisers

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., March 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, rich media ad leader PointRoll, Inc. officially launched FoldOver, a new ad format positioned in the upper corner of a publisher's page. When a user initiates a mouse-over, the ad visually folds over the page, exposing close to a full-page ad. Now advertisers can deliver their video commercial or any advertising message with greater impact while not disrupting the web users' behavior. Publishers will be able to optimize their page yield by offering this new ad unit, hence creating greater revenue opportunities while giving their clients premium ad placement.

"Audi was looking for innovative formats for reaching their consumers online in support of the A6. We used the PointRoll FoldOver on Kelley Blue Book. Upon user initiation, the ad expanded to half the page and delivered a compelling consumer message. The panel click through was over 40%," said Jim Taubitz, Audi's Online Marketing Manager.

"At Kelley's Blue Book, we are continuing to look for unique advertising inventory for our clients. We have already used the PointRoll FoldOver for several campaigns. We like it because it provides new inventory and our advertisers like it because it is unique and provides the same range of functionality that you get from other PointRoll ad units," said Robin Cooper, Vice President, Advertising & Business Development, for Kelley's Blue Book.

"Our goal at PointRoll is to provide the industry with innovative high impact rich media products and services. The addition of PointRoll FoldOver is an example of our commitment to serve the needs of the publisher by creating greater revenue opportunities while offering the advertiser the ability to promote their brands more effectively online," said Chris Saridakis, PointRoll COO.

Other advertisers such as MasterCard, Yahoo!, Sears, Qantas, and Dell have used FoldOver in their online advertising mix. Publisher sites that offer this ad unit in its inventory include Yahoo!, iVillage, Kelley Blue Book, and more. Examples of PointRoll FoldOver ads and other high impact PointRoll ad units can be found at their Client Showcase.
