The WGL Awards $66,500 at 2004 National Finals


ORLANDO. Fla., March 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The World Golf League, Inc. (OTCBB:WGFL) announced today that it has successfully completed its 2004 season National Finals. 142 players competed for a $66,500 prize pool in which three first place flight winners walked away with $10,000 each. The event was held over three days at the world class Mystic Dunes Resort in Orlando, Florida. The WGL has now awarded over $1,000,000 in prize money.

"This was our best event ever; the players were treated to PGA style golf with all the thrills of competition, prize money, electronic scoreboards and a first class golf venue," said Mike Pagnano, CEO, The WGL, Inc. The WGL markets a professional golf concept in the USA and 27 international venues, which allow average golfers to play for substantial prize money in local and regional tournaments culminating with a PGA-style national event and world championship.
