NJDEP Allows the StormFilter as a Standalone BMP


PORTLAND, Ore., March 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Effective in December 2004, Stormwater Management received an Extension Approval to the Conditional Interim Certification from New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for the Stormwater Management StormFilter(r).

Stormwater Management, Inc. is pleased to announce that the StormFilter is now allowed for stand-alone use by the NJDEP as a stormwater treatment BMP.

The NJDEP took a huge environmental step forward by adopting the new rules on Feb 2, 2004. With the extension approval in December, the StormFilter now provides a solution to help meet those rules, while helping to protect our water for the future. Stormwater Management offers diverse products to address a broad spectrum of pollutants and treatment methodologies, including filtration, settling, and screening.
