Soleil Film Appoints Editor David Rawlins to Edit Feature Film, 'Say it in Russian'

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Soleil Film, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFLM) announced today that it has appointed Editor David Rawlins, editor of the Academy Award nominated "Saturday Night Fever" and "The China Syndrome" and Golden Globe nominated "Urban Cowboy", to edit the company's feature film, "Say it in Russian." "We are pleased to have a storyteller of David's caliber on board," said Producer and Company President, Kenneth Eade, "and this emphasizes our goal to make this film a hit."

David Rawlins, editor of "Kung Fu", the hit TV movie that spawned a revolution in the 1970's, achieved critical acclaim as the editor of such Hollywood classics as "Saturday Night Fever", "The China Syndrome" and "Urban Cowboy." Rawlin's credits span over three decades of his successful career, and include "Firestarter", "Back to School", "Life Stinks", and "Baby's Day Out." Throughout that time, he has worked alongside Hollywood legends Sam Peckinpah, Rod Serling and Rodney Dangerfield, as well as modern day Hollywood icons Mel Brooks, Richard Donner and Joel Schumacher.

"Say it in Russian" is Soleil Film's third feature motion picture, directed by Award Winning Director, Jeff Celentano (Primary Suspect, Gunshy). Other films in its library include "Fallacy," currently in post production, and "All That I Need," which will be presented for distributors' consideration at the Cannes Film Market in May 2005.

Soleil's unique business model for financing films is the only successful one presently in existence. The company's plan involves the issuance of company securities to finance its film projects. This gives investors a built-in exit strategy at the moment of their investment, and their investment risk is spread out over the company's entire library.
