Did You Know...SDG&E Offers Help for Customers With Medical Needs


SAN DIEGO, March 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) customers may be entitled to extra electricity and natural gas at the lowest residential rate if they or a full-time resident of the home has certain major medical conditions.

The medical baseline allowance is available for those who have paraplegia, quadriplegia, hemiplegia, multiple sclerosis, scleroderma, a compromised immune system, a life-threatening illness, or any other condition for which additional cooling, heating or life-support equipment is medically necessary to sustain life or prevent deterioration of health. A physician must certify the medical condition.
