Trilogy of Love

WESTERLY, R.I., March 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In a perfect world, unrequited love would not exist. In a perfect world, unrequited love would be a mere concept a visionary would conjure up in his mind. But the world is imperfect as imperfect can be, and unrequited love is here to stay. In Antoinette Marie Hick's new novel, Trilogy of Love, she portrays the heartbreaking story of one man whose love for one woman falls on deaf ears, and in his heartbreak, finds it in the most unexpected time and place.

Theodore Blais' love for Delvina Blanchet transcends from childhood to adulthood. He is devastated when she rejects his marriage proposal to become a cloistered nun. With a heavy heart, he travels the world for the Department of State. On an assignment to Moscow at the United States Embassy, he meets Natasha Kotov, a female doctor of Russian origin. They have a clandestine affair for six years but in 1939, Theodore Blais and the staff at the U.S. Embassy are ordered out of Moscow because of the ensuing World War II, leaving Natasha with little notification. He comes home to the United States only to learn of Delvina's death. After ten years, Theodore is ordered back to Moscow on a special assignment by the Department of State. He tracks down Natasha and is confronted by an unimaginable circumstance that leaves their lives forever changed.

In the book, the reader comes face to face with how far people will go all in the name of love. Its realities, revelations, and resilience are beautifully captured by Hicks in a story that will truly capture your heart. Whether you are looking for love, have stopped believing it exists, or wanting to reminisce its magic, Trilogy of Love is the perfect book for you.
