EMS Wireless Provides Wireless In-Building System to World Bank


NEW ORLEANS, March 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- CTIA Wireless 2005, Booth No. 2567 -- EMS Wireless, a division of EMS Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELMG) announced today during CTIA Wireless 2005 that it successfully completed the installation of a wireless in-building system inside the World Bank's headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.

This EMS Wireless system uses a combination of EMS Wireless's EkoLite II(tm) and EkoLink II(tm) fiber-based products designed for major facilities such as the World Bank. These products are designed to provide in-building wireless coverage in massive facilities and multiple campus-type facilities.

"The World Bank project was installed for a single Wireless Service Provider in five downtown Washington, D.C. office buildings, providing more than two million square feet of coverage," stated Gerald Hickman, senior vice president and general manager, EMS Wireless. "The entire project was installed and commissioned over a four-month period."

Since the major installation was completed, EMS continues to work with the World Bank to install services at an off-site location, and to expand the scope of the original project.
