m-Wise Inc. Announces Release of Upgraded Over-the-Air Provisioning Gateway

WILMINGTON, Del., March 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- m-Wise, Inc. (OTCBB:MWIS), a leading technology provider of mobile entertainment solutions for mobile operators, Wireless ASPs and content providers, today announced the release of Version 2.0 of their Over-the-Air (OTA) Provisioning Gateway.

m-Wise is currently selling the OTA Provisioning Gateway directly to mobile operators and Wireless ASPs and through its channel partners such as Comverse and Ericsson and is already installed with several mobile operators in Europe and Latin America.

To allow a mobile user to access services such as GPRS (APN), MMS, WAP (home page, bookmark), email, and calendar synchronization on their mobile operator's network, their handset must first be configured with the required service settings. The configuration of such service settings can be entered manually into the phones memory, but this means quite complex technical process for the average mobile user, which is subject to errors and incorrect configurations. The m-Wise OTA Provisioning Gateway provides a very simple mechanism for mobile phones to be configured via special binary SMS messages sent to the handset, with full compliance to industry standards such as OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) and WAP Forum. This allows the user to automatically save and configure their phones to the desired operator service.

The release of Version 2.0 of the OTA Gateway goes beyond the basic functionalities of the standard Provisioning Gateway and it incorporates the relevant management features of m-Wise's carrier-grade MOMA Service Delivery Platform (SDP). The new and enhanced OTA Gateway includes the following improvements:

 -- User profile management, including user service
    provisioning management;
 -- Support of custom interfaces for provisioning HLR and/or
    other network elements;
 -- Service Opt In/Opt Out management ;
 -- Service charge rating, including a real-time interface with
    pre-paid and post-paid systems;
 -- An advanced administration back-end for the monitoring and
    provisioning of the system;
 -- An advanced customer care web interface;
 -- Flexible reporting template with over 20 different templates,
    export utilities, and real time statistics;
 -- Add on applications such as: content delivery, infotainment
    services, voting, quiz, chat and various games with interfaces
    for SMS, MMS, IVR, Web, WAP and USSD;
 -- Support of multi-carrier, multi-network and multi-channel
    topology.

The MOMA SDP comprises of over 1,000 value-added services and applications launched on more than 50 European, Latin American and Asian networks. m-Wise can be described as providing the industry's most robust and critical SDP for mobile operators, wireless ASPs and large content and media providers. The MOMA SDP increases data traffic and premium revenues and considerably minimizes capital, commercial, training and technical requirements for the management and control of value-added-services.
