CHALFONT, Pa., March 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Michael Olson, who has been responsible for the greater New Jersey area for GFO Consulting, LLC, has been named a partner at the Chalfont-based financial support services company.

Olson is a long-time construction industry professional with expertise in financial administration, diverse financing negotiations, acquisitions and divestitures, SEC reporting, project management, and financial planning and analysis. Before joining GFO Consulting, Olson served as the principal in Olson Consulting, LLC in Williamstown, NJ where he specialized in writing and developing business plans and assisting companies in improving financial and accounting practices.
From 2000-2003, he was CFO at Kenney Industrial Services, LLC in Chicago, a large North American construction company with five operating subsidiaries. He had assumed this role after serving for five years as CFO with Canisco Resources in Wilmington, DE, where he was instrumental in the successful acquisition of this company by Kenney Industrial Services. From 1986-1995 he was VP Finance/Administrative CFO with Oliver B. Cannon and Son, Inc. in Philadelphia.
Olson holds a BS in Accounting from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC.
