One Woman Bares a Part of Her Soul in a New Poetry Collection

PORTLAND, Ore., March 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- If there is one person who, upon reading the fascinating new poetry collection A Part of My Soul, will draw inspiration from its pages, author Darlene K. Rowland would have accomplished what she set out to do.

Heavily inspired by her personal experiences, Rowland writes of love and pain, honesty and lies, life and death. Through her poetry, she shows how openness to new possibilities can open many doors in life than closing off oneself because of past experiences that seem to hang on forever. "This is life through my eyes, felt by my heart and written from my soul. If it brings warmth to a person's heart or a smile to his face, then I will feel that my work has been worthwhile," she says.

In A Part of My Soul, come face to face with the essential facts of life told through rich and lyrical language that only Rowland can weave. From one soul to another, this is poetry at its best.
