Emulex Executives Provide Storage Industry Insight During Panel Presentations at Server Blade Summit 2005

The presentations will provide insight into the company's LP1005DC HBA offering, designed specifically for the IBM eServer BladeCenter. Additionally, Emulex's exhibit in Booth No. 702 showcases an IBM eServer BladeCenter with the Emulex LP1005DC HBA for SAN connectivity.

Nogales will join a panel titled "Developing Products from an Open Blade Specification," scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time. The discussion will review the hardware, software and management design aspects of a blade server-based product. Nogales will share his experiences as the Emulex executive responsible for HBA hardware design, development and certification.

In addition, Teolis will lead a presentation on future I/O requirements for blade servers during a storage issues panel scheduled for Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. Teolis will highlight the various SAN connectivity developments that are key to the adoption of blade server architectures.
