Produce Safety and Security International, Inc. Announces Agreement for Delivery of Ozone Equipment and Ozone Truck Washer

The Potential Size of the Agreement is Significant Since Red Hawk Ships over 200 Million Pounds a Year of Melons Which Relates to 5,000 Potential Ozone Trailer Truck Washes


TORONTO, March 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Produce Safety and Security International Inc, the 'Company,' or (Pink Sheets:PDSS) announced today that PDSS has signed an agreement for delivery of Ozone equipment and an Ozone Truck Washer to Red Hawk Farming & Cooling LLC located in Picacho, Arizona. The agreement was negotiated between Mr. Jack Dixon, President of Red Hawk Farming & Cooling LLC and "Bill" Clarence W. Karney, President & CEO of PDSS.

PDSS expects to deliver the Ozone equipment in early April for immediate operation. Mr. Dixon's Red Hawk Farming & Cooling grows and distributes watermelons and other types of melons from four locations. Since Red Hawk Farming & Cooling intends to have Ozone units at each location the agreement will be for a total of 8 units. Mr. Dixon stated, "The Ozone and the Spherquat process is the most aggressive and economical process for reducing risk, extending shelf-life and providing a Food Safe Product For The Consumer. Red Hawk ships over 200 million pounds of melons from four locations translating to 5,000 trailer loads."

Red Hawk and PDSS intend to open a Distribution Center at the Picacho, Arizona location for distributing Food Safe Product to the retail, wholesale, food service, hospital, medical and hotel restaurant facilities. The projected target date for operation of this new PDSS distribution facility is to be late June 2005. Red Hawk's President is excited to be the first in Arizona to provide a joint operation for Food Safe Produce. PDSS's President & CEO sees this as a first step toward opening many distribution centers located across the United States, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand and many other places worldwide.

C.W. Karney, President & CEO of PDSS stated, "PDSS's biodegradable fruit trays will also be manufactured at this facility for the client base area of Mexico, Arizona, California, Chile and Texas. Red Hawk and PDSS have agreed to provide a Private Food Safe Brand for distribution to the retail chain stores.
