(OTCBB:CDKN) today announced Kamal Gunsagar, founder of Lara Networks, has joined the Board of Advisors of its Arkados, Inc. subsidiary. Arkados is a semiconductor and software company focused on powerline communications and its applications in the communications, computing, and consumer electronics markets.
"Kamal Gunsagar is well known and respected in the Semiconductor industry with which he has been associated with since 1965," said Oleg Logvinov, President and CEO of Arkados. Most recently, as the CEO of Lara Networks, Kamal Gunsagar built the company into the industry leader in high-performance, silicon-based Network Search Engines for the WAN infrastructure markets. In 2001, Lara Networks was acquired by Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where he is now the Vice President of Contract Manufacturing.

Mr. Gunsagar held positions in companies such as NCR Microelectronics, Fairchild Semiconductor, Zilog, Phillips-Signetics, VLSI Technology, Mosel-Vitelic, and Alliance Semiconductor before embarking on two startups Empowertel Networks and Lara Networks.
