Kamal Gunsagar Joins Board of Advisors of CDKnet's Arkados, Inc.

Silicon Industry Veteran Teams with Powerline Communications Chipmaker


NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., April 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- CDKnet.com, Inc. (OTCBB:CDKN) today announced Kamal Gunsagar, founder of Lara Networks, has joined the Board of Advisors of its Arkados, Inc. subsidiary. Arkados is a semiconductor and software company focused on powerline communications and its applications in the communications, computing, and consumer electronics markets.

"Kamal Gunsagar is well known and respected in the Semiconductor industry with which he has been associated with since 1965," said Oleg Logvinov, President and CEO of Arkados. "The wealth of experience and industry insight gained over the forty years will be very valuable as we forge ahead. He is a welcome addition to our team."

Most recently, as the CEO of Lara Networks, Kamal Gunsagar built the company into the industry leader in high-performance, silicon-based Network Search Engines for the WAN infrastructure markets. In 2001, Lara Networks was acquired by Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, where he is now the Vice President of Contract Manufacturing.

"The networking explosion of the Nineties is about to repeated," said Mr. Gunsagar, "but this time, instead of networking businesses for data, we'll be networking homes for video, audio, and other entertainment applications. Arkados is in the center of it."

Mr. Gunsagar held positions in companies such as NCR Microelectronics, Fairchild Semiconductor, Zilog, Phillips-Signetics, VLSI Technology, Mosel-Vitelic, and Alliance Semiconductor before embarking on two startups Empowertel Networks and Lara Networks.
