Homeland Integrated Security Systems Files Patent Application for the Cyber Tracker


ASHEVILLE, N.C., April 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HISC) is pleased to announce that it has filed an application with the United States Patent and Trade Office for the Cyber Tracker. The company has received an application number and confirmation of receipt from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The Cyber Tracker is a battery powered GPS device that utilizes Motorola (NYSE:MOT) technology. A Cyber Tracker unit can be placed in vehicles, on assets, or carried by a person. It is the fastest tracking design with virtually "real-time" tracking capabilities. A customized software application transmitted wirelessly, tracks the desired object or person on a digital map from anywhere in the world. The patent filing and approval process generally takes about one year from date of filing. The company is in process of filing four additional patents.
