Hard To Treat Diseases, Incorporated Announces Upcoming Calendar Call

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., April 19, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hard To Treat Diseases, Incorporated (HTTD) (Pink Sheets:HTDS) announces today that the calendar call regarding the pending federal litigation will be this Friday, April 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m.

HTTD has mediated, negotiated and held discussions in good faith with the Defendants. As of today, a resolution to the current dispute has not been reached. The Company's goals have not wavered and remain unchanged. This case is scheduled on the Court's five (5) week trial docket commencing May 2, 2005. At the calendar call the Court will assign the trial setting, indicate when the case will start and issue final instructions. The Court has total discretion with the scheduling and the case can be called anytime during the docket period.

On April 11, 2005, the Court denied both the Defendant's Motion For Continuance of the trial date and the Defendant's Motion To File Third Party Complaint. The defendant, Ronald Shinn, has raised various legal and factual defenses to the Company's Complaint. The Company believes those defenses are contradicted by overwhelming evidence and are otherwise baseless. We are fully confident in the judiciary and the legal process under which HTTD is proceeding.

Management's intention and goal with this litigation has been to resolve the current dispute in the most efficient and economical manner to provide the maximum benefit to the Company and to HTTD's shareholders.

HTTD's shareholders and investors will be kept informed of all public developments as they occur regarding the above matters. In order to ensure the confidentiality of the Company's business and legal strategies, certain specific information may not be immediately available. Once such information can be revealed, it will be publicly disclosed to all shareholders.

HTTD is currently involved in litigation regarding the rights to Tubercin(r). Additional information and details regarding the litigation can be viewed at our website at: www.htdsotc.com
