FASHION ROOMS by the Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place Announced by Warwick International Hotels

A Collection of Personalized Rooms by Belgian Fashion Designers

NEW YORK, April 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place in Brussels Belgium, has introduced the first of 12 FASHION ROOMS(r) that express the creativity of Belgian fashion designers and The Touch of Excellence of Warwick International Hotels.

The Royal Windsor, one of 31 hotels in the Warwick Collection, has opted for extreme personalization by entrusting the decoration of a selection of its guest rooms to famous Belgian fashion designers. The FASHION ROOMS(r) offer a fundamentally different experience to travelers seeking novelty, sensation and exclusivity.

Four Belgian fashionistas, Mademoiselle Lucien, Jean-Paul Knott, Gerald Watelet, and Marina Yee, designed the first collection of rooms. Six additional rooms are due to be opened this spring from Belgian fashion designers Haider Ackermann, Pascale Kervan, Nina Meert, Romy Smits, Kaat Tilley and Nicolas Woit.

"By choosing daring and innovative fashion designers, the hotel aims to act as an ambassador for a Belgian fashion industry that enjoys worldwide recognition," said Paul C. van Wijk, Warwick's Vice President and General Manager of the Royal Windsor Hotel. "Each designer has complete freedom of expression to design his or her room according to the standards of luxury and comfort guaranteed by their top-notch label."
