Bilia has signed an agreement involving the sale of the operations run by Micro AB to a company whose principal owner is Mats Nilstoft from Malmö. The transfer agreement presupposes that certain rental agreements can be transferred to the buyer. The new owners will have access to these operations on 1 May.
Micro's operations have been run at a loss and Bilia has therefore guaranteed the purchaser financial support. The sale is therefore expected to have a negative effect on the Bilia Group's net result of SEK 30–45 million, depending on how the transferred operations develop over the next few years.
Commenting on the deal, Bilia's managing director, Jan Pettersson, says: "Mats Nilstoft is currently running operations in the same sector in northern Sweden and he has long, in-depth experience of wholesale and retail operations in the segment comprising car parts and accessories. We feel that we have found a good home for Micro and its employees.”
