HOUSTON, April 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- UCS was named the Diamond Award Winner in Auto Dealer Monthly magazine's first annual Dealers' Choice Awards. Receiving 102 total points, UCS finished first in the Data Management Systems category.
Participants were asked to rank their DMS provider in three areas:
-- Product provided by the vendor
-- Customer service and support offered by the vendor
-- Overall value as compared to the cost for the product
or service
Out of the original 200 nominees of vendors, suppliers, and lenders in the various categories chosen by Auto Dealer Monthly, only 47 companies were eligible to be listed in the final results. The published companies had to meet a minimum number of votes, as well as finish at or above the group average based on the level of positive responses received. Approximately 14,000 total votes were cast across all categories and were heavily scrutinized for authenticity in the final tabulation.
