View Systems' SecureScan Featured in Law Enforcement Technology Magazine

BALTIMORE, April 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST), a cutting-edge homeland defense solutions provider, announced today the SecureScan Concealed Weapons Detection Systems was highlighted in the January Edition of Law Enforcement Technology Magazine.

The article, titled Taking Steps to Using Walk-Throughs, reviews several of the leading manufacturers' detection portals, and interviews two Government employees who have chosen View Systems' SecureScan. Arapahoe County Sheriff Sgt. JD Knight explains how the county ordered the system following a courthouse shooting.

Darris Summers, with Monongalia County Sheriff's Department in Morgantown, W.V., commented on reasons his department chose the SecureScan was its simplicity: "too many bells and whistles gives you too much to do." Another feature Summers likes is that the detector doesn't sound an alarm when someone needs searching, but instead throws up a red border around the graph. "An alarm could alert the person to run."

The Company will post the article in its entirety on its web site, http://www.viewsystems.com/products.html.

"This article provides a great third party view into the current marketplace of weapons detection portals and will increase awareness of the SecureScan," stated View Systems' CEO Gunther Than. "We continue to sell and install SecureScans in highly visible venues at price points that are competitive and provide a better solution than currently available. Market feed-back tells us that the SecureScan is a better, faster and less costly solution. Throughput rates at three to five times faster than the leading competition make us highly desirable to highly attended events. We have moved into the event arena and are receiving great reception. Where 40 regular metal detectors are normally needed, View Systems can satisfy the need with a third as many and still have a large safety factor for the surge of guests and fans coming in at the last minute before a game or event starts."
