Element 21 Golf Company Presents a Material Change in Wedges -- E21 Irons Featured in May Issue of Golf Illustrated

IRVINE, Calif., May 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Element 21 Golf Company (E21) (OTCBB:EGLF) announced today that it will be introducing Eagle One wedges in June, 2005. The wedges will include 52 degree, 55 degree and 60 degree models that will feature the revolutionary new Eagle One shafts made from E21's new Scandium alloys. The E21 Eagle One shafts are now available to club builders and buffs through The GolfWorks(tm) for the re-shafting or building of clubs everywhere.

Through an optimum balance of launch angle and spin rate E21 has developed easy to hit wedges that provide superior feel, improved accuracy and unmatched consistency from club to club. These wedges with the E21 shafts will offer players a greater spin rate with a higher launch angle enabling them to stop the ball on the green. Shaft vibration in E21 wedges is reduced by up to 300%. This feature, referred to as ShockBlok(tm), has the added benefit of redirecting energy away from a player's hands back into the club head for added back spin and distance.

"Based on the extensive player testing we have performed, we are confident that our new wedges will become a valued addition to many player's bags," stated Jim Morin Executive Vice President in charge of Product Development. "The pinpoint accuracy of our wedges coupled with their tremendous feel will certainly lead to improved scoring. Players change wedges frequently, and as such, wedges could become E21's market leader to deliver news of Scandium performance advantages faster and to broader audiences."

According to industry sources, the market for wedges is nearly 100 million dollars, out of about 4.5 billion dollars spent on golf equipment annually. Because of the enhanced performance and extremely favorable player reception of the E21 Eagle One golf shafts, E21 Golf is implementing its strategic plan to support the re-shafting business for all golf clubs including wedges.

E21 Irons were again featured, this time in the May 2005 Edition of Golf Illustrated Magazine, entitled "Irons at Work." Eagle One Irons are also included in the 2005 Golf Equipment Buyers Guide, from the editors of Golf Tips Magazine.
